Artificial Eye

This project was created in collaboration with the Weizmann Institute as a token of appreciation for a leading scientist in the field of artificial intelligence.

The studio was asked to design a version of the Evil Eye Mirror, one of its bestsellers, as a spatial object that would evoke the visual language of computer-based AI.

Following conversations with researchers who described the innovative ways they work with artificial intelligence, the design concept evolved around the notion of layered perception. The final object incorporates three transparent Perspex sheets, each printed with a distinct digital-like pattern. Together, the layers create a dynamic visual depth, suggesting the multi-dimensional nature of machine intelligence and reflecting how diverse fields of research collectively shape the evolution of AI systems.
